Competition description:

            In no more than 2000 words, summarize the context of your current research, describe the protein you would like to use as bait and the library you would like to screen among the ones available in Hybrigenics Services list. You should explain the goals of identifying the binding partners of this protein and the applications in your research. The project also has to be of general interest for the cell biology and developmental research communities.

The winner will be selected by BSCB/BSDB meeting organisers and will be announced at the conference dinner on Tuesday 17th April 2012. Entry deadline 23rd March, 2012.

The screen is to be performed on a collaborative basis, meaning the Intellectual Property is to be shared between Hybrigenics Services and the winner. Hybrigenics Services and the winner would decide together to publish part of the results or disclose them in meetings (and Hybrigenics staff will be among the authors of the resulting posters or publications).Applicants must be from a recognised academic institution and have no direct links with Hybrigenics.
